Now in its fourth year, the Plunge has become a highlight of a quiet winter season on the North Fork,  with a 2026 goal of turning out 500 plungers and observers. In January 2024, over 400 plungers  and supporters participated, and this year we are expecting a bigger turnout with the introduction  of Plunge Teams of community members competing to raise funds for vital community services and  marine conservation efforts. Registration begins Thanksgiving Day!
